    About The Workshop

    This summer, immerse your children in an enriching and skill-building experience through a comprehensive theatre workshop, during the month of may, 2025.
    followed by a full scale stage production.    Designed to foster confidence, creativity, and communication, this program provides structured learning through performance arts
    while ensuring an engaging and enjoyable environment.

    WHY THIS EXPERIENCE IS WORTH IT

    • Public Speaking & Communication –

    Vocabulary building, breathing techniques, voice modulation and stage presence.

    • Speech Clarity –

    Projection, articulation and confidence in vocal expression.

    • Movement & Stage Awareness –

    Character development, body language and emotive storytelling.

    Its Going To Be Fun!

    Its going to be a lot of fun. Not just the final stage play, but the DAYS OF REHEARSALS with a bunch of other young members, like you.
    There's going to be food and drinks and a comfortable place for you to rehearse.
    Meet new people. Make new friends.
    Try out different characters to play. Rehearse together.
    Act, Sing, Dance, Play an instrument.. So much to do.    And go back having learnt a bunch of new stuff.

    Led by Prerna Franklin, an educator with over 15 years of experience, the programs are designed to inspire and nurture young minds, allowing them to explore their potential and discover new passions.

    Event Team

    CARLYLE Mc Farland
    The name hardly needs introduction. One of the most well-known educators, ex-principal of a premier institution, a teacher everyone loves learning from, and not to mention that the little ones simply adore him. A power source of fun and value in every enterprise he partakes in.

    MARYA Franklin.
    Over 35 years of experience with teaching, working with children from ages 3 upwards. A tireless educator who only grows in her love and commitment for the work that she does. A powerhouse of purpose and guidance, always.

    RICHA Vaish.
    She loves everything creative, adds zing to handling of affairs and gets things done.
    She has worked in high octane corporate cultures as well as an educator, and is adept at managing situations and people alike.

    YASH Singh.
    A familiar face for many, an actor, assistant-director who has worked in major motion pictures in India and abroad. With extensive education in film & media and tutelage under prominent masters of the art, he is here to happily share some of that knowledge with our older participants

    KUSHAL Kapoor.
    Our city's very own, he and his company are a familiar presence in most of the important situations where a camera is required. As fearless with his work as he is with his truth, he is a vibrant and passionate photographer who is ever joyful in sharing from a vast reservoir of what he has learnt through his experience and education in photography.

    NISIKA.
    The youngest pair of hands on this project and former student of the founder of Firefly ED, she is the creator of some good things on FireFly ED.

    PRERNA Franklin.
    Spearheading this entire venture, is the petite educator who wants to do more with the children beyond their classrooms. Defying her diminutive dimensions is the scale of her ideals and vision of growth projects she wants to cultivate with children. Immensely popular with her students, she hopes to touch lives with joy, exuberance and impart important values in the process.
